What is YFC?
The National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (NFYFC) is the largest rural youth organisation of its kind covering various Young Farmers'Clubs (YFC's) throughout England and Wales, helping support young people in agriculture and the countryside. It has grown and now Maendy are one of over 700 clubs in England, Ireland and Wales, and many more overseas. Young Farmers clubs provide twenty-five thousand members between the age of 10 to 28 with a unique opportunity to develop skills, work with their local communities, travel abroad and take part in the varied competition programme and enjoy a dynamic social life.

Maendy club participates in a variety of competitions throughout the year, the main competition day being Rally Day along with the Drama Weekend, Field Day, public speaking and many more!
As well as competitions, the club organises weekly activities and trips as well as social events including the Vale Show dance in August.
A highlight of our social calendar is the club's Dinner & Dance where members and supporters dress up in their best attire for an evening celebrating the Club's and members' achievements over the last 12 months with delicious food and entertainment.
